Kyle Emery

I am a National Science Foundation Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCLA. My research focus is on coastal ecology, specifically cross-ecosystem subsidies of organic matter and the associated impacts on recipient ecosystem food webs, community structure, and ecosystem functioning. The majority of my research is conducted in temperate kelp forests and sandy beaches along the southern California coastline and the California Channel Islands.
